13/12/2004: Уважаемые посетители, большое обновление (порядка 30 кассет) "застряло по дороге" - кончилась дисковая квота... пытаюсь решить вопрос через службу поддержки nm.ru... пожалуйста, наберитесь терпения!

10/10/2004: Ни дня без обновления!.. Добавилась ещё одна разновидность Denon DX1, а новости за 2003 год переехали в архив... Думаю, что простенькая статистика, показывающая объём коллекции не повредит... хотя, конечно, она не идеально точна, тем не менее, думаю, будет давать представление о динамике расширения коллекции...

09/10/2004: На этот раз добавилось много интересных старых кассет: Hitachi, Maxell, Toshiba, National, JVC... пополнился и раздел "неизвестные"... Мои благодарности Александру Григорьеву и SPb. Vladimir, приславшим эти кассеты!

03/10/2004: Появились новые разделы - Ross, Konig и Telefunken, дополнились разделы 3M (добавилась очень старая кассета), Ampex, BASF, Nakamichi (ещё несколько тестовых и демо-кассет), ORWO, TDK, Teac... на коробке TEAC'овской кассеты нанесена предупреждающая надпись, что изделие попадает под действие ограничений на вывоз стратегических продуктов за пределы США... спасибо Alexander Ehne и Alex-new за присланные материалы... Внимание! Сменился e-mail по причине того,что дисковая квота под почту (которую я вынужден был постоянно уменьшать по мере того, как приходилось увеличивать квоту под файлы сайта) в конце концов достигла своего минимума... так что отныне по вопросам, касающимся сайта, пишите на haplishe@yahoo.com...

Updates are in 3M section (a very old tape), Ampex, BASF, Nakamichi (some more calibration and demonstration tapes), ORWO, TDK, Teac... On the TEAC's protective box there is a warning saying that the product is subject to certain strategic regulations prohibiting unauthorized export from the USA. 09/09/2004: Добавлен новый производитель - AMC (Италия), в этом разделе пока одна кассета, добавились новые экземпляры в BASF (в том числе чистящая кассета), Denon, MK, Nakamichi, Philips, Raks, Sony, TDK. Мои благодарности всем, кто прислал за эти (всего лишь!) два дня так много экспонатов для нашей коллекции: Iftikhar Ahmad, Muzifan'у, Ириному сканеру и Сергею с форума на Stereo.ru (ему - особенно).

09/09/2004: A new manufacturer, AMC (Italy) was added to the page contents. We've got only one tape of that brand by now. New tapes were included into BASF section, and a cleaning tape among them. Updates are also made to Denon, MK, Nakamichi, Philips, Raks, Sony and TDK. My gratitude to everyone who sent so many items for our collection within only the past two days! Those are namely Iftikhar Ahmad, Muzifan, Irina's scanner and Sergey from Stereo.ru forum (my special thanks to Sergey).

04/09/2004: Самая главная новость: на сайте появляется грамотный английский язык... главная страница переведена, остальные в работе (Огромное Спасибо, Стас!). Очень много обновлений за столь короткий отрезок времени, потому всё по порядку... Появились кассеты следующих брендов, которых до этого на страницах сайта не было: 3M, Emtec, Victor, Nakamichi, причём последние - особенно интересны, так как это - эталонные кассеты для калибровки тех самых легендарных наковских кассетных дек... Дополнились разделы: JVC, Maxell, MK, National, PDM, Philips, Pioneer, Sony, TDK, Teac, "Курьёзы" и "Неизвестные"... кроме того, "подновил" некоторые кассеты из уже имевшихся, поскольку прислали качественные сканы взамен плохоньких прежних... Моя огромная благодарность Miki, Iftikhar Ahmad, VVV, Vic, Vcomp, Belych, Muzifan, AndreyST. Загляните в Teac - там лежит даже не кассета, а... даже не могу сформулировать, что это такое... что-то среднее между кассетой и бобинником... и не из за того, что в кассете бобины, как на катушечнике, а в том, что они сменные и кассета заряжается, как катушечный магнитофон...

Да, вот ещё что: мы перевалили за 500 экземпляров, с чем вас всех и поздравляю!

04/09/2004: Today's topline news: the page is now translated into good English (many thanx, Stas!). We've had very many updates within a short time, so let's relay the facts as they happened… Now we have tapes of previously unpublished brands, those are 3M, Emtec, Victor, and Nakamichi. Tapes of the latter brand are of a peculiar interest for they are the reference tapes for calibration of legendary Nakamichi cassette decks… Updates are also made to JVC, Maxell, MK, National, PDM, Philips, Pioneer, Sony, TDK, Teac, "Funny Ones" & "Unidentified"... Besides some tapes were "renovated" for we've been sent their better scans instead of former low-quality pictures. This time my infinite gratitude goes to Miki, Iftikhar Ahmad, VVV, Vic, Vcomp, Belych, Muzifan and AndreyST…. Drop into Teac section - there is not a cassette but something I can't even describe! Something between a cassette and a reel-to-reel tape deck. It's not just a cassette with small reels inside (like those of reel-to-reel recorder). The reels in that cassette are detachable and the cassette should be loaded with the reels before recording or playback, loaded just like an ordinary reel-to-reel deck!

And one more thing: we have now more than 500 tapes in the collection. My congratulations to everyone!

22/08/2004: Добавления: Denon HD6, чистящая Sony весьма мудрёной конструкции, варианты TDK D, AD и AR, CDpower, ещё одно устройство их же производства для размагничивания головок в формате компакт-кассеты и кассета для мокрой очистки головок, а также эксклюзивная SA Del Sol, выходившая ограниченным тиражом, за что хотелось бы поблагодарить Muzifan'а, Iftikhar Ahmad. Кроме того, надеюсь, скоро на сайте будет не мой безграмотный английский, а результат работы профессионального переводчика, ибо Стас предложил свою помощь!

22/08/2004: Updates: a Denon HD6, a head cleaning Sony rather of a complicated technique, some versions of TDK D, AD & AR, a CDpower tape and another their tool for head demagnetizing made in shape of a compact-cassette. We've got also a wet-type head cleaning cassette as well as an exclusive limited edition SA DelSol. My regards to Muzifan, Iftikhar Ahmad. Besides, I hope, my English that leaves much to be desired will soon be replaced by a good translation, for Stas offered his assistance.

07/08/2004: Перед отпуском успел-таки внести дополнение на сайт, спасибо Muzifan и Miki. Добавились кассеты в разделах: Agfa, Basf, Denon, Fuji, MK. Но что самое приятное, в PDM и Akai теперь по 2 кассеты. Редкие вещицы!

07/08/2004: I've found some time to make an update for the page before my summer holidays. Some tapes are added into the following sections: Agfa, Basf, Denon, Fuji, MK. And the really pleasant thing is that sections like PDM and Akai have now 2 cassettes each. Really rare stuff! My greatest thanks to Muzifan and Miki!

26/07/2004: Долгожданное обновление. Много старых BASF'ов, от которых были только обложки, нашлись и заняли место на страницах сайта, добавилось несколько старых Philips и просто-таки древних Sony и Panasonic, также дополнения в разделах: Agfa, Maxell, Sharp, MK, TDK (ещё 3 кассеты с металлической рамой корпуса). Расширился и список производителей - в нём появились уже не существующие Winfield/Audition, EMI/Thorn (когда-то у EMI Records было подразделение, производящее компакт-кассеты), Boots Audio. Огромное спасибо всем, благодаря чьим усилиям сайт продолжает расширяться: Muzifan, Mickey, Wild Tomcat и многим другим. Хотелось бы как-то дать знать автору studio2.freeserve.co.uk, что я бессовестно позаимствовал со страниц его сайта несколько сканов, но, увы, он не оставил на сайте e-mail для связи, так что остаётся лишь заочно поблагодарить его и привести ссылку на сайт.

26/07/2004: The update we've been waiting for a long time is finally made. Many old BASF tapes that we previously had only inlay cards for have finally been found and placed into the corresponding section. We've added some old Philips and ancient Sony and Panasonic cassettes as well. Contributions are also made to sections like Agfa, Maxell, Sharp, MK, TDK (3 more tapes with metal case). The list of brands was expanded with non-existing now Winfield/Audition, EMI/Thorn (EMI Records once had a division, producing magnetic tapes) and Boots Audio. Thanks to everyone who make these pages grow, namely to Muzifan, Mickey, Wild Tomcat and many others! I would like to let the owner of studio2.freeserve.co.uk know somehow that I've borrowed some scans from his page. Unfortunately, I found no e-mail on that page for copyright contacts, so I can only thank him in advance and leave a link to the page.

13/05/2004: Может показаться, что жизнь на сайте замерла, но это не так... просто была очередная вынужденная задержка... а за это время скопилось много неопубликованных кассет, первая партия из них появилась на сайте месяц назад, но ввиду недостатка времени это не было отражено в новостях... и вот сегодня "добил" остальные... потихоньку перевожу сайт на английский язык (найдёте ошибки - дайте знать, поправлю). Хотелось бы поблагодарить всех, кого не смутило долгое затишье на сайте и кто присылал все новые и новые касеты. Увы, у меня по независящим от меня причинам погиб архив с почтой, потому не смогу перечислить всех поимённо, хорошо, что сами кассеты остались. Добавления в TDK, Agfa, Basf, ECP, Fuji, Memorex, SKC. 13/05/2004: It may seem that life here on this page became too still, yet this is not as such. It was just a detention. Meanwhile, a number of cassettes were collected but left unpublished. The first set of those was displayed a month ago but due to lack of time the event was not announced here in the news… Today I can exhibit all the rest of the tapes.
I also started translating the info into English.
I would like to thank everyone who did not get rattled with the slack period on this page and who kept on sending more and more tapes. Unfortunately, I'm unable to give thanks to all of you personally for my e-mail archive was corrupted for reasons beyond my control. Yet the tapes themselves are safe and sound. We've got contributions to TDK, Agfa, Basf, ECP, Fuji, Memorex and SKC sections. And a very special thanks to Thomas Nolte for really rare tapes he sent to me today, especially - for a TEAC tape.

08/01/2004: Ещё одно значительное обновление - перевалили через третью сотню - добавились новые производители (Koviniplastika, Opus), обновления во всех крупных брендах, наконец-то и я добрался до сканера - в разделе "Курьёзы" - обещанный Basf DCC Maxima... интересно, остались ещё у кого кассеты такого формата?

08/01/2004: One more significant update: we've got now more than 300 tapes in our collection, and several new brands are now added, namely Koviniplastika and Opus. We have also made updates to major brand sections. I myself finally reached the scanner and can now display the promised Basf DCC Maxima in "Funny Ones"... Does anyone still have such tapes left, I wonder?

Николай Попов) повергла меня в изумление - 85 обложек от кассет, причём реально древних - годов эдак 70-х, посему было принято принципиальное решение - аннулировать на сайте раздел "Обложки", а его содержимое распределить по страницам, соответствующим маркам кассет... Спасибо, Николай, что подкинул мне работёнки!... более всего разрослись разделы: Agfa, Basf, Scotch и "неизвестные науке звери"...

02/01/2004: A package from Nickpo (a.k.a. Nikolay Popov) left me dazed with admiration - 85 inlays cards for cassettes, really ancient, something like dated 70's. This is why a critical decision was taken: we've abrogated the "Inlay Cards" part of the page and distributed the cards among the tapes brand sections... Nikolay, thanx for keeping me busy!.. Major updates are made to Agfa, Basf and Scotch sections, as well as to "Funny Ones".
